Is Rob Zombie Back For Halloween 2?!
1 December 2008 6:14 PM, PST
This should be considered rumor until it's officially confirmed, but Shock Till You Drop got a tip from a reliable source that Rob Zombie is being courted back to write and direct Halloween 2. Earlier this year, Inside directors Alexandre Bustillo & Julien Maury were in talks to direct the sequel to Rob Zombie's Halloween. Then at last months 30 Years Of Terror convention, producer Malek Akkad said pre-production was slated to begin in January 2009 with a March 2009 start date for shooting. Tyler Mane was always signed to reprise the role of Michael Myers, but a writer/director hadn't been locked as of the convention.
Shock reports, "An insider phoned in this afternoon exclusively informing ShockTillYouDrop.com that Rob Zombie is going to reprise his duties as director and carry on the new Myers legacy that he forged with Tyler Mane behind the mask."
If true, this puts Rob Zombie's Tyrannosaurus Rex

Felissa Rose Talks Silent Night, Zombie Night!
1 December 2008 4:36 PM, PST
Production is about to begin shortly on Silent Night, Zombie Night, the second feature from writer/director Sean Cain (Naked Beneath The Surface). A co-production of his Velvet Hammer Films and ArsonCuff Entertainment, the title pretty much gives you a good idea of the 2 horror sub-genres the flick plans on combining.
He explained the premise to Fangoria shortly after the film’s announcement. "The plot is a little like a love triangle between three friends," Cain told Fangoria. "Frank Talbot and Nash Jackson have been partners on the Lapd for many years—almost the same amount of time that Frank has been married to his wife, Sarah. However, on the day an undead plague breaks out, Frank takes an injured Nash back to the younger man's apartment and finds his wife there with a packed bag. Because of the zombies, they are trapped inside and having to deal with the

12" Bruce Campbell Figure From My Name Is Bruce!
1 December 2008 12:08 PM, PST
In our interview with Bruce Campbell last month, the actor/director mentioned that Dark Horse Comics had plans to make an action figure based on the "character" of Bruce Campbell from My Name Is Bruce. Sure enough, you can now pre-order the figure (due out in April 2009) via the BigBadToyStore website. (Link Here!)
Check out an item description, along with a pic of the figure below:
One of the most anticipated genre movie releases of the year is My Name Is Bruce, starring the cult hero (or is that antihero?) Bruce Campbell. Campbell is abducted from his trailer-park home to fight against Guan Di, a Chinese war deity. Thinking it all a joke, although thinking clearly is not one of his strong suits in this picture, Mr. Campbell discovers that it all is real, much to his shock and dismay. Mayhem ensues.
The fully articulated doll is formed from a 3-D scan of Campbell himself.

1 December 2008 11:49 AM, PST
Twilight star Kristen Stewart recently chatted with Ryan Seacrest on his Kiis-fm show and let the word out that shooting for the sequel New Moon should begin in March of 2009. She told the host, "A lot of the book takes place in Italy, and I think we're going to get to go to Italy, which is so cool. For a while there, they were like, Oh, we don't know if we have the money, but now I think we may have the money!" She's of course referring to the huge success of the first Twilight film last weekend. Listen to more of the interview Here!
Meanwhile, director Catherine Hardwicke had a bit to say about the new film to MTV. "It's got werewolves, it's got visual effects that turn people into werewolves, it's got motorcycle stunts, you go to Italy. It's probably twice as much as this film." Read more,
