Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this new feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes .

Sex & Nudity

Two kisses.

Violence & Gore

Frequent action violence. The characters are frequently threatened with harm from dangerous plants, animals and other perils. The characters have to fight and harm carnivorous fish and plants. Dangerous creatures attack each other. No violence directed at other people. The only gore is dinosaur spit.

Profanity

While there is no profanity in the movie that I recall, there is a brief exchange between two characters discussing rock formations, while it's obvious to adults and older children what word shist is being confused with, it will go over any younger child's head. See the "memorable quotes" section for the dialog.

None.

Well, yes. Nearly all scenes are intense and might be frightening, especially to young children. This movie was designed for 3D so there is an emphasis on surprise and things jumping out at you. Even when seen in regular format, these scenes are very intense and are intended to fright the audience, young or old.
