Prior to Friday THE 13TH, many attempted to work off the slasher success. Some triumphed, some didn't, and some were just there as good gory fun. This is one of those. Slumber Party Massacre is a very fun slasher, full of hot teenage girls in pajamas getting drilled (with a drill). There is plenty of gore and some nudity; the two things that make up a slasher. The killer, which is revealed way to early in the film because he lacks any facial covering, is a somewhat creepy mental patient but is no Jason Voorhees. Worth a rental if you're having some friends over or feel like something that will just flat out entertain you.
