I think a lot of the bad rating has been put down to the B-Movie of the same name that was released in 2003 by Mark Cross, 'The Trip' (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0293961/) - it was renamed "Hell Ride" in 2004.
"Hell Ride" (2008) will be awesome, any fans of Vinnie Jones should check out "Survive Style 5+" (2004; http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0430651/).
The Trip (2004) 2/10, Hell Ride (2008) 7/10. I read in a previous comment for The Trip that it be can found on a discount DVD web site secluded within an advanced search on the horror section, with free p&p, :S
