I just finished watching of Reprise, but I'm confused what it was about - just strange love relationship between Kari/Philip and friendship Erik/Philip?

1. Was Philip just (mis)using Erik and he was just his dog/servant?

2. Who is saying external comment about "how could be future", are those thoughts of Erik who is writing books just to become famous as was Philip after 1st book?

3. I didn't understand whole publisher scene (+"beach" scene with girl) and it's meaning (discussion about name of book), what was it's point? I though publishers were trying to get through him to Philip, so I though that girl from publisher house was on beach intentionaly to get closer to Philip, but then it was just completely cutted without any continuing, like director changed his mind and totally forgot about that storyline.

4. How it actually ended? Because I remember complete end was just "what if", so what was real end?

5. What was wrong with Philip at all - was he manic-depressive/suicidal or what?

6. Was Philip's latest work really bad or was Erik just hypocrite and because he was pissed off he told him it's bad?

7. Why was Erik hiding Lilian before his friends, was he ashamed of her or he didn't take her seriously and didn't love her?

Fine movie, nothing spectacular, but fine, above average (6-7/10, more like 6), I liked colors (camera/photography) and norwegian locations, score was probably the best part of movie. Otherwise movie looked to me similar to Voksne Menesker, which was more about personal freedom/lifestyle than about friendship, but kinda strange love relationship is there too.
